Marksol Rank Chrome Extension – Privacy Policy

Marksol Rank is a free Chrome extension by Marksol (marksol.pk) that checks the SEO, AI-search readiness and conversion setup of online stores. This policy explains what the extension does with data.
What the extension reads
- The page you are looking at, only when you click the Marksol Rank icon. The extension reads public page details such as the title, meta tags, headings, image alt text and the names of tracking tools and apps on the page. This quick check runs inside your browser and is not sent to us.
- The store address you choose to audit. When you start a full audit, the store’s web address is sent to the Marksol Rank service on marksol.pk, which visits the store’s public pages and returns the report.
- Popularity rank. The store’s domain name is sent to the public Tranco list service (tranco-list.eu) to look up its popularity rank.
Ads Studio and ad library pages
- Ad library pages. On public ad library pages (Meta Ad Library, Google Ads Transparency Center, TikTok Creative Center and Ad Library, LinkedIn Ad Library and Snap Ads Gallery) the extension shows a Marksol Ads panel. It reads the ads shown on that page (advertiser name, ad text, start date, status, versions and the image link) inside your browser. Nothing from these pages is sent to us.
- Creative checker. Images and videos you check are analysed inside your browser and are not uploaded. If you add a landing page link, only that link is sent to the Marksol Rank service on marksol.pk so it can check the page’s speed, Pixel and offer.
- Saved ads. Ads you save (with a small thumbnail made on your computer), tags and notes are stored only in your browser using Chrome storage. You can export them as CSV or delete them at any time.
- Right-click menu and image access. When you right-click an image or text and choose “Check with Marksol”, that image or text opens in the extension’s Ads Studio. The extension may ask for permission to load an image from a website; you can refuse.
What you choose to share
To unlock the full report you can enter your name, WhatsApp number and (optionally) your email address, and answer optional self-check questions. This information is sent to Marksol so we can show your report and contact you about your store. We may send up to two short follow-up emails about your report and a monthly re-check of your store’s score. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
What we do not do
- We do not read your browsing history or any page you have not asked us to check.
- We do not collect passwords, payment details or the content of your forms.
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising or credit decisions.
- The extension does not add ads to any website.
Stored on your device
The extension remembers your language choice (English or Urdu) and, if you unlocked a report before, your name and number so you do not have to type them again. You can clear this by removing the extension.
Keeping and deleting data
Report requests and contact details are stored securely on marksol.pk and kept only as long as needed to serve you. To see or delete your data, email info@marksol.pk or message us on WhatsApp at +92 319 7681402.
