Product Launch Strategy for Pakistani Brands
Launching a new brand or product is a one-time chance to make noise. This step-by-step go-to-market plan shows Pakistani brands what to do before, during and after launch day.

A strong launch is planned in three stages: getting ready, building demand before the launch, and turning attention into orders and repeat buyers after it.
Pick one clear buyer and one clear promise. Trying to speak to everyone makes the launch forgettable
Launch week needs ads, creators, social content and customer service working together
At Marksol, go-to-market and launch planning is one of our core services. We have launched new brands from zero and new products for established ones. This is the plan we follow, simplified so any founder can use it.
The three phases of a product launch strategy
| Phase | Timing | Main goal |
|---|---|---|
| Get ready | 4 to 8 weeks before | Right product, price, message and store |
| Build demand | 2 to 4 weeks before | People waiting to buy on day one |
| Launch and grow | Launch week and the next 30 days | Turn attention into orders and repeat buyers |
Phase 1: Get ready
Check that people actually want it
Before spending on a launch, look for proof of demand:
Choose one buyer and one promise
Write one sentence: “We help [this buyer] get [this result] without [this problem].” For example: “We help working women in big cities dress elegantly for the office without paying designer prices.” Every ad, caption and product page should come from this sentence.
Set a price that can survive
Your price has to cover product cost, packaging, courier, returns and ad cost, and still leave profit. Many launches price too low, then cannot afford ads. Build the numbers first, then decide the price.

Phase 2: Build demand before launch
The goal is that on launch day, people are already waiting.
Phase 3: Launch week
Launch week is about everything happening at once. A typical plan:
| Day | Action |
|---|---|
| Day 1 | Announce on all channels, message the waiting list, start purchase campaigns, first creator posts go live |
| Days 2 to 3 | More creator content, retarget people who visited or engaged, reply quickly to every comment and message |
| Days 4 to 5 | Share early customer reviews and unboxing videos, keep the best ads running |
| Days 6 to 7 | Remind people the launch offer is ending, review numbers and plan week two |
The most overlooked part of launch week is customer service. Fast, friendly replies to comments and WhatsApp messages turn curiosity into orders.
The first 30 days after launch
Launch metrics to watch
| Metric | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Waiting list size before launch | Shows how much demand you built |
| Day 1 and week 1 orders | Shows if the launch message landed |
| Conversion rate | Shows if the store and product page convince people |
| Cost per order | Shows if ads are profitable |
| Return rate | Shows if the product matches expectations |
| Repeat orders after 30 to 60 days | Shows if you built a real brand, not just a spike |

Frequently asked questions
How early should I start planning a product launch?
Ideally four to eight weeks before launch day. That gives time to test demand, prepare the store and content, and build a waiting list.
What is a go-to-market strategy?
A go-to-market (GTM) strategy is the plan for how you will bring a product to market: who you sell to, what you promise, how you price it, which channels you use and how you measure success.
How much budget do I need for a launch?
It depends on your product, price and goals. Plan budget for content, creators and ads in launch week, and keep enough for the following weeks so momentum does not stop.
Should I offer a launch discount?
A limited launch offer can help, but it does not have to be a big discount. Bundles, gifts or early-access offers often work just as well and protect your margins.
What if my launch does not sell well?
Look at the numbers to find the problem: low interest points to the message or product, low conversion points to the store, and high cost per order points to the ads. Fix the weakest step and relaunch to your audience.
